"Just got these and they sound fine. I would not consider myself an audiophile, but listening to everything from classical to heavy metal just now, these headphones handle themselves well. I have an old and very expensive set of Grado headphones that are a bit nicer on sound and separation, but these come pretty close.
Headphone fit is snug and so far no problems from a comfort standpoint. Travel case and detachable cord are a nice feature.
Price might be high for some buyers, and you could get a nice set of Urban Ears over ear headphones for about half the price or less if you like, but these sound better than those less expensive phones.
Overall, I d consider them a good set of phones if you want to make the investment.

"I can t say enough about these headphones. They are comfortable (though perhaps a bit snug for those with big heads or if you wear eyeglasses), they seal out external noise better than your average noise-cancelling unit (though without actually having that annoying feature), and the sound...well, the sound is on par with true audiophile headphones. The highs are sweet and precise, the mid-range is full and articulated, and the bass is tight and accurate without ever going over the top. If you are an audiophile, you can feel confident using these as your "every day" headphones without compromising sound quality. If you are a more typical user, you re in for a very nice surprise.
