De Gibson Skylark LapSteel werd gemaakt van 1956 tot 1968. Bij de introductie had de Skylark de volgende specificaties: korina (afrikaans limba) body, vierkant-achtige body met een rechte lijn aan de bas kant, schuin gemonteerd element, extra ruimte voor een knop op de slagplaat, afgeronde hoeken op de body, open block markeringen met cijfers op de toets, de kop wijst iets naar de treble kant, een plastic logo op de kop. Dit specifieke instrument is gebouwd in 1965 en is in uitstekende staat met geringe speelsporen. 100% origineel en werkend, inclusief originele koffer.
